Element appoggiatura is intended to encode appoggiaturas, ornaments that suspend the principal note by taking away the time-value of the appoggiatura prefixed to it. Such embellishments are written using one or more grace notes.
This element has one or more chord sub-elements, following the syntax already explained for the chord element.
Attributes
- id, an optional attribute an optional attribute that provides unique identification for the symbol.
- event_ref, a mandatory attribute that identifies the spine event of the music symbol which the ornament is applied to.
- slur, an attribute to hide or show explicitly the slur.
