Chord_symbol

Element chord_symbol is for encoding chord symbols by using conventional rules (e.g. "G7", "C7(b5)", "F#-"). Symbols have to be alphanumeric strings. Graphical symbols can be obtained via software by parsing such string.

Attributes

• id, an optional attribute that provides a unique identification for the symbol.
• event_ref, a mandatory attribute to identify the spine event which chord_symbol should be linked to.
