Element rest is used to encode rests. Its structure is similar to that element chord, but obviously the pitch information is not present. In regard to duration and augmentation_dots sub-elements, please refer to chord element.
Attributes
- id, an optional attribute to provide identification.
- event_ref, a mandatory attribute to identify the spine event to which restshould be linked.
- staff_ref, an optional attribute to allow the attribution to a staff different from the default value for the current voice.
- hidden, an optional attribute which can be used to hide the rest.
