Element tablature_symbol is used to encode a tablature sign instead of a chord or a rest in CWN. Its structure is similar to that of chord element, but notehead sub-elements are substituted by key sub-elements. In regard to duration and augmentation_dots sub-elements, please refer to chord element .
Attributes
- id, an optional attribute to provide unique identification.
- event_ref, a mandatory attribute to identify the spine event which chord should be linked to.
- stem_direction, an optional attribute to define the stem direction.
- beam_before, an attribute that allows grouping of a number of chords under the same beam. If the attribute is set to "yes", a previous chord is sending a beam to the current one.
- beam_after, an attribute that allows grouping of a number of chords under the same beam. If the attribute is set to "yes", a following chord is expecting a beam from the current one.
