Element time_signature is a container for a number of elements time_indication. In a standard case, only one time_indication is required; if more than one are needed, it is possible to encode complex tempo signatures, such as ½ + ¾. Mixed meters (e.g. a measure in ½ followed by a measure in ¾, alternatively) can be represented by notating all the time signature changes.
Attributes
- event_ref, a mandatory attribute to identify the event which element time_signature should be linked to.
- visible, an attribute that allows to hide the time signature even when music theory would require its visualization.
