Element work_number contains the catalog number of the whole composition this piece belongs to. For instance, if the IEEE 1599 file encodes the 2nd movement from Emperor Quartet by Joseph Haydn, work_number's content is "op.76 no.3" (the catalog number of the whole quartet). Similarly, for Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Eine kleine Nachtmusik, work_number's content is "K 525".
